Job Overview
We are seeking a professional and reliable Coach/Bus Driver to operate passenger vehicles safely and efficiently. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting passengers on scheduled routes, ensuring their safety, and maintaining the vehicle in excellent condition. Responsibilities
- Safely operate coach or bus vehicles on designated routes, adhering to schedules and traffic laws.
- Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, including checking mechanical components and safety equipment.
- Maintain clear communication with passengers, providing information about routes and stops as required.
- Ensure passenger safety at all times, including assisting with boarding and alighting procedures.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning the vehicle interior and reporting any mechanical issues promptly.
- Follow organisational policies regarding driving hours, rest periods, and safety protocols.
- Keep accurate records of trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance activities.
Qualifications
- Valid UK driver’s licence category D with a clean driving record; experience is preferred.
- Proven experience in commercial driving or as a delivery driver is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to interact professionally with passengers and team members.
- Strong driving skills with a focus on safety and customer service
