At RCH Kitchens we are seeking a skilled and motivated Kitchen Fitter to join our dynamic installation team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, fitting, and finishing kitchens to the highest standards maintaining the RCH 500 five star review reputation. Your expertise will ensure that each project is completed efficiently, safely, and to the satisfaction of our customers. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of residential projects, bringing the customers dream kitchen to life!
Responsibilities
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install kitchen units, cabinets, worktops, and appliances with precision.
- Use hand tools and power tools to carry out fabrication, joinery, and assembly tasks efficiently.
- Perform carpentry and joinery work to ensure seamless fitting of kitchen components.
- Conduct plumbing connections for sinks, dishwashers, and other appliances as needed.
- Carry out masonry or roofing tasks if required for structural adjustments or enhancements.
- Handle heavy lifting safely during the transportation and installation of kitchen materials.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and meet the RCH and customer quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations throughout all phases of installation.
Skills
- Proven experience in fabrication, assembly, and installation of kitchen units.
- Proficiency with hand tools such as saws, drills, screwdrivers, and chisels.
- Strong carpentry and joinery skills for precise fitting of cabinetry and fixtures.
- Experience with power tools including saws, sanders, drills, and grinders.
- Knowledge of roofing techniques relevant to kitchen installations or structural modifications.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while managing large or bulky materials.
- Basic plumbing skills for connecting appliances and fixtures securely.
- Familiarity with masonry work or roofing as optional skills that enhance versatility on-site.
- Electrical experience is advantageous for handling wiring or appliance connections responsibly.
