Morrison's Daily, Selmeston, Lewes Road is part of a family run business and has just undergone a fantastic refurbishment and we had branded under Morrison's and BP.
We are currently looking for applicants as a Retail Assistant, 16 hours per week, must be fully flexible to cover 7 days a week. Your role will be multi skilled to cover all aspect of the store operation including fuel delivery's and food to go and general retail work .You will be given full training across the store.
Previous experience would be preferred and a driving_ licence is a must due to stores location._
Applicants must be over 18 years old due to licensing laws.
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Retail Customer Service Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and support. Your primary responsibility will be to assist customers with their inquiries, process transactions, and ensure a positive shopping experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a knack for sales, and the ability to manage time effectively.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale system.
- Handle customer inquiries via phone and in-person with professionalism and courtesy, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
- Upsell products by identifying customer needs and recommending suitable options.
- Maintain an organised store environment by ensuring shelves are stocked and displays are tidy.
- Assist in managing inventory levels and report any discrepancies as needed.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations within the store.
- Provide support in resolving customer complaints or issues promptly to maintain customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a retail or customer service role is preferred but not essential.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Basic maths skills for processing transactions and handling cash accurately.
- Excellent organisational skills to maintain a well-presented store environment.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers and colleagues alike.
- Experience in upselling products is an advantage.
