Due to changes at our client's premises in Bishopbriggs, Glasgow, we are seeking to hire an experienced External Cleaner. This will be a part-time role working 2 days per week, Saturday & Sunday. The working times for the role will be 08:00 am - 5:30 pm
The role will involve working at an external retail park. You will be expected to undertake cleaning tasks across our client's site and keep the site clean to the highest standard, as per an agreed specification.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- To ensure high standards of cleaning are maintained (as per specification).
- To work in accordance with Company Health and Safety Procedures, adopting safe systems of work.
- To check equipment prior to use and to report defective equipment to Site Manager or Supervisors
- To report any hazardous or potentially hazardous situation to Site Manager or Supervisors
- To wear any Personal Protective Equipment issued, as required by Company policy, at all appropriate times.
- To comply with legitimate management requests and instructions.
- To take care of Company equipment and use it only for its intended purpose.
- To only operate equipment for which you have been fully trained or have been given full instructions.
- To ensure that all hazardous substances are handled in a safe and responsible manner.
- To ensure "Caution" or "Wet Floor" signs are always displayed when working.
Person Specification:
- Cleaning industry experience
- Knowledge of COSHH regulations
- Great work ethic
- Customer focused.
- Effective communicator
- Flexibility to support needs of the business.
Pay: £13.45 per hour
