Position: Travel Advisor (Full time)
Hours of work: 37.5 hours a week - Monday to Saturday
Job Summary:
Voel Coaches are seeking to recruit an experienced Travel Advisor to join our very busy sales department on full time basis.
· Determining clients needs and suggesting suitable travel packages
· Organising travel from beginning to end including accommodation, transportation and admissions
· Dealing with customer enquiries and taking bookings over the telephone
· Collecting payments and balances from customers via card machine and cash
· Daily use of our booking system
· Using our social media platforms to communicate with customers and advertising our products and services
· End of day banking
Person Specification:
Essential
· Previous experience in travel
· Excellent telephone manner
· Exceptional customer service skills
· Good numeracy and literacy skills
· Strong organisation and prioritising skills
· Team player and the ability to use your own initiative
Desirable
· Knowledge of sales techniques and experience within a sales environment
· NVQ in Business Administration or Travel & Tourism
· Previous experience of marketing a business via social media
· UK geographical knowledge
Pay: From £12.71 per hour
