We are now looking for a motivated, professional and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our busy and high-performing Nottingham Kia dealership.
About the Role
As a Service Advisor, you will be at the heart of our Aftersales operation, delivering an exceptional experience to every customer who visits us for servicing, maintenance or vehicle repairs.
You will act as the key link between our customers and workshop team, ensuring clear communication, efficient job progression and a seamless customer journey.
This is a customer-facing role suited to someone who is confident, organised and passionate about delivering outstanding customer service. You'll need to be comfortable working in a busy environment where priorities can change quickly — whether it's a busy Monday morning or a fast-paced Friday afternoon.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing all customer requirements for servicing, maintenance and vehicle repairs in a professional and efficient manner.
- Booking vehicles in for servicing, MOTs, warranty and repair work.
- Liaising closely with the workshop to monitor job progress and ensure vehicles are completed on time.
- Keeping customers fully informed of vehicle faults, repair requirements and any additional work identified.
- Providing clear and professional explanations of technical information in a way customers can easily understand.
- Preparing accurate estimates and communicating costs effectively.
- Maintaining accurate customer and vehicle records, including service histories.
- Promoting and upselling relevant Aftersales products and services where appropriate.
- Ensuring customers receive regular updates throughout the repair process.
- Delivering consistently high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Working towards and achieving strong manufacturer customer satisfaction survey results.
- Handling customer queries and concerns professionally and resolving issues wherever possible.
- Working closely with colleagues across the dealership to ensure an excellent customer experience from vehicle drop-off through to collection.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who can hit the ground running and make a positive contribution to our busy Aftersales team.
You'll ideally have:
- A minimum of two years' experience as a Service Advisor or in a similar automotive customer-facing role.
- Strong customer service skills and the confidence to handle queries and resolve concerns professionally.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to explain technical information clearly and concisely.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Experience using IT systems and dealership management software.
- The ability to prioritise and multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive, positive and professional approach.
- A genuine desire to exceed customer expectations.

Working Hours
Monday to Friday: 08:30 – 17:30
1 in 2 Saturdays: 08:00 – 12:30
