We are a bespoke furniture manufacturer looking for an experienced or semi experienced upholsterer to join our small workshop on a part-time basis.
This position would particularly suit a retired or semi-retired upholsterer or someone seeking steady, low-pressure work with flexible hours.
The role involves simple, repeatable upholstery tasks, including:
· Producing upholstered bed headboards
· Upholstering stool cushions
· Upholstering bed frames
· Sitting units and similar soft furniture pieces
The work is straightforward and consistent, focusing on good craftsmanship rather than speed.
About you:
· Some previous upholstery experience (traditional or modern) – further training can be provided.
· Comfortable working independently
· Takes pride in neat, well-finished work
· Reliable and practical
