Priory Hospital Llanarth has an opportunity for an HR & Resourcing Lead to join our team.
Llanarth Court is a specialist medium secure, low secure, and open rehabilitation psychiatric hospital. Located in Abergavenny, Monmouthshire, Llanarth Court offers convenient transport links and easy access to the A40 and A459. Due to the location of the service, access to a vehicle or the ability to drive is recommended.
We’re looking for an organised and approachable HR professional to join our team at Llanarth Court, providing hands-on HR support across the site. Working closely with our Senior Management Team, managers and central HR teams, you’ll be a key point of contact for colleagues and help ensure our HR processes run smoothly and effectively.
In this role, you will, but are not limited to:
- Provide day-to-day HR support and guidance to managers and colleagues.
- Support recruitment, onboarding and employee engagement activities.
- Help with absence management, employee relations and retention.
- Provide advice and guidance to managers on HR processes and policies.
- Maintain accurate HR records and complete HR administration.
- Work closely with the Senior Management Team and central HR teams.
- Help create a positive, supportive and well-managed working environment.

Essential
The post-holder will have strong communication and relationship-building skills, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to organise and coordinate a varied range of HR activities. You will have previous experience of coordinating HR activities within a corporate environment and be confident in providing HR support and guidance to managers and colleagues.
Desirable
Working towards a CIPD qualification would be desirable but is not essential. Previous experience of working within the healthcare sector would also be advantageous, although this is not essential.
