Front of House / Receptionist – Nail Salon
Job Overview
We are looking for a friendly, organised, and enthusiastic Front of House Team Member to be the welcoming face of our nail salon. In this customer-focused role, you will ensure every client enjoys a relaxing and professional experience from the moment they arrive until they leave. You will manage appointments, provide excellent customer service, and support the smooth day-to-day running of the salon.

Responsibilities
- Welcome clients warmly and create a friendly, professional first impression.
- Manage salon bookings, appointments, and walk-in enquiries using the salon booking system.
- Answer phone calls, emails, and social media enquiries promptly and professionally.
- Check clients in and out, process payments, and maintain accurate client records.
- Offer refreshments and ensure clients feel comfortable during their visit.
- Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the reception area and waiting space.
- Assist with retail sales by recommending and promoting salon products where appropriate.
- Coordinate with nail technicians to ensure appointments run smoothly and efficiently.
- Handle client enquiries and resolve any concerns professionally to ensure a positive experience.
- Assist with stock management, including monitoring retail products and salon supplies.
- Support the team with general administrative tasks and contribute to the overall smooth operation of the salon.
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in a receptionist, front of house, retail, hospitality, or customer service role is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a warm, approachable manner.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask in a busy salon environment.
- Confident using booking systems, computers, and card payment terminals (training can be provided).
- A professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Ability to work well as part of a team while also using initiative.
- A passion for beauty, wellness, or the nail industry is desirable.
- Sales experience or confidence recommending retail products is an advantage.
