Granada Secondary Glazing is a leading name in secondary glazing solutions. We're committed to delivering premium-quality products and exceptional service. As a Warehouse Operative, you'll play a pivotal role in the manufacturing of our bespoke secondary glazing.
Responsibilities:
· Working in a team within various sections on the production floor to include Milling, powder coating, assembly, wrapping, glazing and wood/metal saws. Plus, others.
· Using powered tools to secure hardware to the frame
· Use of self-standing windows fabrication machinery
· Rotating section work to ensure multi skilled working and provide cover for staff absences.
· To provide a very high-quality standard throughout the build
· Adherence to all organisational policies, management systems and standard operational procedures, including legal responsibilities in relation to Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality.
· Work positively to develop and foster good working relationships with colleagues and contracted personnel in order to maintain a culture of mutual respect and dignity.
· Represent the organisation in a positive way.
Requirements:
· Previous experience within the Window/Glass Industry would be preferred but not essential.
· Previous experience within a manufacturing environment preferred.
· Excellent attention to detail
· Knowledge of good health and safety practises
· Proven ability to multi-task
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £10.42-£14.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
