We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Administrator to join our team and provide essential support across our Civils, Electrical, and Facilities departments.
The Role
As an Administrator, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our business by providing administrative and coordination support to multiple departments. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities, and being a central point of communication across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide general administrative support to the Civils, Electrical, and Facilities teams.
- Coordinate schedules, appointments, and project administration activities.
- Prepare, manage, and maintain documentation, reports, and records.
- Raise purchase orders and process invoices as required.
- Liaise with clients, suppliers, contractors, and internal teams.
- Maintain accurate databases, spreadsheets, and filing systems.
- Support the coordination of works, resources, and project-related activities.
- Monitor and update job tracking systems and project information.
- Assist with compliance documentation and record management.
- Answer telephone and email enquiries in a professional and timely manner.
- Support management with ad-hoc administration tasks and reporting requirements.
About You
We are looking for an organised and motivated individual who can manage competing priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and professionalism.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in an administrative or office coordination role.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Professional and confident approach when dealing with customers and colleagues.
Desirable
- Experience working within construction, civil engineering, facilities management, or electrical services sectors.
- Experience using job management or project management systems.
- Understanding of compliance, accreditations and document control processes.
