Summary
We are seeking a passionate Maths & Science Specialist Teacher to join our dedicated team in the United Kingdom. Based in GB, this role plays a vital part in inspiring and supporting students to reach their full potential within our inclusive educational community.
Responsibilities
Curriculum Delivery and Adaptation
· Transforming maths and science concepts into highly visual, multi-sensory lessons tailored to individual EHCP targets and learning needs.
· Assessing student progress consistently, adapting pacing and teaching styles to accommodate different cognitive and sensory profiles.
Environment and Safety Management
· Modifying hands-on science experiments and lab environments to safely accommodate physical, behavioural and sensory needs.
· Conducting risk assessments for all practical work, ensuring a supportive yet highly controlled environment for students who may have a sensory need.
· Maintaining a calm, structured classroom environment that minimises triggers and maximises engagement.
Multidisciplinary Collaboration
· Working with therapists and learning support assistants to embed communication and behavioural strategies into STEM lessons.
· Leading and guiding classroom support staff to ensure targeted interventions are delivered during activities.
· Participating in annual reviews to provide feedback on student progress against EHCP.
Accountability and Reporting
· Reporting directly to the Head of Teaching and Learning.
· Maintaining an accurate and up-to-date record of student achievement, attendance and behavioural data in line with school policies.

Pay: £34,000.00-£42,000.00 per year
