Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and personable Sales Associate to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong customer service focus, and the ability to engage with diverse clientele. Fluency in multiple languages, is highly desirable to better serve our multicultural customer base. The position is paid and suitable for individuals eager to build a career in retail sales.
Opportunites for both full-time and part-time, salary will be pro rota.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs
- Provide detailed product information and demonstrate features when applicable
- Upsell additional items or services to maximise sales opportunities
- Maintain attractive merchandising displays aligned with company standards
- Process transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system
- Handle customer enquiries via phone and in person with professionalism and courtesy
- Manage stock levels, organise stockroom, and assist with inventory checks
- Ensure the sales floor remains clean, organised, and welcoming at all times
- Develop strong product knowledge to advise customers effectively
- Follow organisational procedures for returns, exchanges, and complaints
Experience
- Previous experience in retail or customer service is advantageous but not essential; full training will be provided
- Proficiency in English is required; fluency in other languages is a plus
- Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and active listening abilities
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy periods
- Demonstrated ability to upsell products effectively
- Experience with merchandising and maintaining visual displays is desirable but not mandatory

Pay: £30,000.00-£30,971.00 per year
