Young Male Physically Big Support Worker – Children's Home
We are seeking a Young Male Physically Big Support Worker to work with children and young people in a residential care setting.
This role is particularly suited to individuals who enjoy being active, engaging young people in sports, outdoor activities, and positive physical pursuits, while providing high-quality care and support.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a Children’s Home or Supported Living setting.
- Experience supporting children and young people with emotional, behavioural, autism, or learning disability needs is desirable.
- Able to build positive relationships and maintain professional boundaries.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexible and willing to work day shifts, night shifts, weekends,
- Able to respond calmly and effectively in challenging situations.
Duties:
- Provide high-quality care and support to children and young people.
- Promote independence, education, and positive outcomes.
- Complete daily records and reports accurately.
- Support young people with activities, appointments, and daily living tasks.
- Work in line with safeguarding policies and procedures.
Essential:
- Right to work in the UK.
- Enhanced DBS certificate on update service
- Previous care/support work experience.
Pay: £12.71 per hour
