Responsibilities

- Provide basic information about the organisation’s services or operations to callers.
- Manage multiple lines efficiently during busy periods, prioritising urgent calls.
- Assist visitors by directing them appropriately and providing necessary information.
- Ensure the reception area remains tidy and welcoming at all times.
- Follow organisational protocols for handling sensitive or confidential information.
Skills
- Excellent verbal communication skills with a clear, professional telephone manner.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in using telephone systems and basic office software.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle difficult callers with tact and diplomacy.
- Good listening skills with attention to detail.
- Previous experience in customer service or a similar role is desirable but not essential.
