Contract Labour Solutions have a fantastic opportunity for a Site Engineer to work with our client who is an established construction company that specialises in the fencing sector, with work taking place in the Aylesbury area.
Pay: Starting @ £400p/d
Duration: 3 months - temp to perm
Role: Candidates will be completing the following tasks.
- Carry out accurate site setting out for fencing, hoarding and boundary installations
- Interpret drawings, specifications and technical documentation
- Support site managers with planning, sequencing and delivery of works
- Undertake quality assurance checks and maintain site records
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and rail standards
- Liaise with clients, subcontractors and internal delivery teams
- Assist in survey work, as-built records and project reporting
- Support delivery of works in rail, highways and restricted access environments
Requirements: Candidates will need to show the following.
- Previous experience as a Site Engineer within civil engineering, rail, highways or infrastructure
- Strong understanding of setting out and surveying techniques (GPS / total station)
- Experience working in live site or rail environments (preferred)
- Good knowledge of health & safety compliance (CSCS required; PTS desirable)
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Full UK driving license
