Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and motivated Sales Advisor to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the key point of contact for customers within our large shop, helping them find the right products and solutions to meet their needs. Your enthusiasm and communication skills will drive sales growth, foster strong customer relationships, and support our mission to provide legendary service.
Responsibilities
- Serving customers at the trade counter and providing a professional, helpful service
- Handling telephone, email and in-store sales enquiries
- Identifying the correct parts and products to meet customer requirements
- Preparing quotations and processing customer orders
- Taking payments and accurately completing sales transactions
- Receiving, checking and putting away incoming stock
- Picking and preparing customer orders
- Maintaining accurate stock records
- Keeping the shop, trade counter and stock areas clean and well organised
- Building strong relationships with existing customers
- Supporting the team with general store and administrative duties
- Developing your knowledge of our products and services
Experience
- Have excellent customer service and communication skills
- Be confident dealing with customers in person and over the telephone
- Be organised, accurate and comfortable working in a busy environment
- Have good basic computer and administrative skills
- Be willing to learn about engineering products and applications
- Be dependable, punctual and able to work well as part of a team
- Have a positive attitude and take pride in delivering excellent service
- Be comfortable handling stock and carrying out general shop duties
Previous experience in a parts department, engineering supplier, tool store, builders’ merchant, motor factors, agricultural dealership or trade counter would be beneficial. However, full product training can be provided to the right person with the correct attitude and willingness to learn.

Pay: £26,500.00-£35,000.00 per year
