Position Overview
As a Drivers Mate / Delivery Van Driver, you'll play a vital role in our nationwide delivery operation. Working closely with our HGV Class 2 Drivers and wider delivery team, you’ll help deliver fully assembled kitchens directly to customers’ homes.
Most days you’ll work as a Drivers Mate alongside an HGV Class 2 Driver, supporting with unloading and customer interaction. On some shifts, depending on route requirements or team patterns, you may also be required to drive a van and complete deliveries with another team member.
This is a physically demanding, customer-facing role that involves heavy lifting, long-distance travel, and representing our brand on the road.
Some routes will require overnight stays in the cab, so you’ll need to bring your own overnight equipment (bedding, toiletries, etc.) each shift.
You’ll work Wednesday to Sunday on a 40‑hour contract, with overtime paid at time and a third after 40 hours.
What You Will Be Doing
- Working as part of a two‑person team delivering fully assembled kitchen units across the UK
- Supporting HGV Class 2 Drivers with unloading heavy kitchen units safely
- Providing excellent customer service at every home you visit
- On certain days, driving a company van and complete delivery routes with a different team member
- Carrying out heavy lifting and handling large, bulky items
- Ensuring loads are secure
- Completing deliveries using a handheld scanner
- Keeping the vehicle clean, tidy, and safe
- Communicating clearly with customers and the transport team regarding delays, issues, or route updates
- Being prepared for overnight stays depending on delivery routes
- Acting as a friendly, professional brand ambassador on the road
About You

- Experienced in delivery, logistics, warehouse, or drivers mate roles (preferred but not essential)
- A full UK driving licence
