- Salary: £37500.00
- Hours: 48hrs Monday to Friday, some Saturdays and bank holidays, 45minute break unpaid.
- Place of work: Turners Hill, West Sussex
About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Driver / Operative to join our team.
This is a driving-based role, combined with a range of operational duties to support our waste management services. If you’re someone who prefers variety in your day and is willing to get involved beyond just driving, this could be a great fit.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Delivering and collecting wheelie bins, skips or containers
- Carrying out site clearances, including loading waste materials
- Undertaking manual handling tasks as part of service delivery
- Supporting yard operations, including organising and cleaning containers
- Carrying out bin repairs and refurbishment
- Providing a professional service to customers on site
- Driving company vehicles in line with your licence (HGV or non-HGV)
What We’re Looking For
- Valid driving licence - minimum 7.5t Category C1
- CPC qualification (if HGV licence held)
- Previous experience in waste, logistics or a similar environment (preferred)
- Willingness to carry out manual, physical work
- A flexible, team-focused attitude
- Someone who takes pride in getting the job done properly

This is not a driving-only role.
While driving is a key part of the job, you will also be expected to:
- Carry out site clearances
- Handle waste manually
- Support yard and operational activities
- Assist with bin repairs
