The Opportunity
The successful candidate will work closely with experienced Partners and senior lawyers on a varied and sophisticated caseload spanning both contentious and non-contentious employment law matters.
You will advise a diverse client base including:
- Employers and business owners
- Directors and senior executives
- HR professionals
- Senior employees
- Professionals across a variety of sectors
The role offers exposure to a broad range of employment law issues, including:
- Employment Tribunal claims
- Discrimination and equality matters
- Redundancy and restructuring projects
- Disciplinary and grievance procedures
- Employment contracts and service agreements
- Settlement agreements
- Restrictive covenants and post-termination restrictions
- Workplace investigations
- Employment policies and procedures
- TUPE matters
- Senior executive exits and negotiations
This position provides an excellent platform for an Employment Solicitor looking to develop their expertise within a high-performing and ambitious team.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a varied employment law caseload
- Advising both employers and employees on complex employment matters
- Representing clients in Employment Tribunal proceedings and mediations
- Drafting and reviewing employment contracts, policies, and agreements
- Negotiating settlements and advising on dispute resolution strategies
- Delivering practical, commercially focused advice
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across the wider firm
- Supporting business development and networking initiatives
- Staying informed of legislative developments and emerging employment law trends

- Qualified Solicitor status
