FULL TIME PCV COACH / MINIBUS DRIVERS WANTED
We’re expanding our driving team at Liverpool Minibus & Coach Hire to cover an increase in work. We are looking for drivers who hold full D entitlement on their licence with up to date CPC and also Enhanced DBS Certificate (We can help obtain this)
The vacancy is for a minimum of 30 hours per week and will include weekend working and is paid at £15 per hour on weekdays and £17.50 at weekends.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate minibuses and coaches for a variety of private hires, schools and special events
- Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and roadworthiness
- Maintain accurate logs of trips, mileage, and vehicle maintenance needs
- Communicate clearly with passengers, team members, and dispatchers to coordinate schedules and address any issues
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks or report repairs promptly to ensure optimal performance
- Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during every journey
- Assist passengers with boarding and alighting, providing excellent customer service at all times
Qualifications
- Proven experience in commercial driving or as a bus or coach driver with a valid D licence and CPC
- Basic mechanical knowledge to perform routine vehicle checks and minor repairs
- Excellent communication skills in English for effective interaction with passengers and team members
- Prior experience operating minibuses or coaches preferred but not essential; training can be provided for the right candidate
- Knowledge of road safety regulations and traffic laws applicable to passenger transport
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude
- Commitment to safety, punctuality, and delivering exceptional service
Pay: £15.00-£16.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 30.0 per week
