As our business continues to grow, we are looking to appoint an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee the successful delivery of multiple projects nationwide.

The Role
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for the safe, profitable and successful delivery of multiple construction projects across the UK.
You will manage Project Managers, Site Managers, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure every project is delivered on programme, within budget and to the high standards our clients expect.
The role requires regular travel to sites throughout the UK, with attendance at our Preston office as required.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple live commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects simultaneously.
- Lead projects from pre-start through to practical completion and final handover.
- Develop and maintain project programmes to ensure successful delivery.
- Coordinate Site Managers, subcontractors and suppliers.
- Ensure projects are delivered safely and in accordance with company procedures.
- Monitor quality standards and ensure all works meet client expectations.
- Chair site progress meetings and maintain strong communication with clients and consultants.
- Work closely with the Commercial team to monitor project budgets, variations and commercial performance.
- Identify and proactively manage project risks.
- Ensure procurement and material deliveries support project programmes.
- Resolve site issues efficiently while maintaining programme and quality.
- Review project performance and implement lessons learned to drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure all Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality procedures are followed.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and the supply chain.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 5 years' experience as a Contracts Manager, Project Manager or Senior Site Manager within commercial construction.
- Experience delivering commercial fit-out, retail, hospitality or leisure projects.
- Excellent knowledge of construction sequencing and site management.
- Strong understanding of Health & Safety legislation and CDM Regulations.
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to lead and motivate project teams.
- Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
- Strong commercial awareness with an understanding of project budgets and profitability.
- Competent using Microsoft Office and construction management software.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Willingness to travel nationwide and stay away from home when project requirements demand.

- SMSTS.
- CSCS Black or White Card.
- First Aid at Work.
- Temporary Works awareness.
- Experience working under JCT Design & Build contracts.
- Experience delivering fast-track fit-out projects for national brands.
