Barista – Chucky’s Baristro Eastbourne
Chucky’s Baristro Eastbourne is looking for 2–3 experienced baristas to join our new team.
We are looking for clean, hardworking, reliable and energetic people who understand the pace of a busy café environment and take real pride in their work.
This role is not just about making coffee. We are looking for people who care about customers, work well under pressure, keep their station clean, and bring a positive motivating attitude to the team every day.
What we are looking for:
- Minimum 3 years’ barista experience
- Strong understanding of speciality coffee
- Confident with espresso, milk steaming and latte art
- Able to work in a busy, fast-paced environment
- Clean, organised and professional at all times
- Friendly, smiley and customer-focused
- Reliable with good timekeeping
- Able to start early mornings without issues
- Young, dynamic, energetic and motivated attitude
- Able to take responsibility and work as part of a team
- Good communication skills
- Must care about presentation, quality and consistency
Responsibilities include:
- Preparing high-quality coffee and drinks
- Serving customers with a friendly and professional attitude
- Keeping the bar and work area clean and organised
- Supporting the team during busy service
- Helping with opening and closing tasks
- Maintaining high standards of hygiene and presentation
- Taking responsibility during service when needed
