Job Title: Part-Time Restaurant Assistant (Table Clearing & Cleaning)
Job Overview
New Dancing Dragon Bar & Restaurant in Summertown, Oxford is looking for a Part-Time Restaurant Assistant to join our team.
The main duties will include clearing tables, cleaning and keeping the restaurant tidy, as well as assisting the restaurant team when required.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is reliable, hardworking and enjoys working as part of a friendly team.
Responsibilities
- Clear tables promptly and efficiently
- Remove used plates, glasses and cutlery
- Wipe and clean tables and chairs
- Reset tables ready for the next customers
- Keep the restaurant and dining areas clean and tidy
- Sweep and clean floors when required
- Assist the restaurant team during busy periods
- Help maintain a clean and welcoming environment for customers
- Follow food hygiene and health & safety procedures
- Carry out other general restaurant duties when required
Requirements
- Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is preferred but not essential
- No previous experience is required for the right candidate
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Friendly and polite attitude
- Able to work efficiently in a busy restaurant
- Able to stand for extended periods
- Able to carry out physical tasks such as bending and lifting
- Good teamwork and communication skills
- Evening and weekend availability is preferred
Salary
Pay will be based on experience and suitability for the role.
