Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Nursery Practitioner Level 3 or above to join our vibrant early childhood education team. Duties
- Plan and deliver stimulating activities that support children's developmental milestones in line with early childhood education standards
- Supervise and support junior staff members, providing guidance and leadership to ensure consistent, high-quality care
- Observe, assess, and record children's progress to tailor activities that meet individual needs
- Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment adhering to health and safety regulations
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about children's progress, needs, and daily experiences
- Manage daily routines including meal times, naps, and outdoor play to promote well-being
- Lead by example in promoting positive behavior strategies and fostering inclusive practices
Skills
- Proven management and leadership abilities within a childcare or nursery setting
- Extensive experience working directly with children in early childhood environments
- Strong understanding of childcare principles, nursery curriculum planning, and child development stages
- Excellent communication skills in English to engage effectively with children, parents, and team members
- Ability to demonstrate childcare best practices with attention to detail and professionalism
- Competence in managing multiple responsibilities while maintaining a lively, positive atmosphere
