We are currently looking for a warm, reliable, and enthusiastic Nursery Lunchtime Cover Practitioner (Level 2 or Level 3) to join our friendly team at St. George's Nursery Bobblewood.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with young children and wants to be part of a supportive and welcoming nursery during our busy lunchtime period.
Your Role
As a Nursery Lunchtime Cover Practitioner, you will:
- Support children throughout the lunchtime period.
- Help with meals, routines, and transitions.
- Create a calm, safe, nurturing, and engaging environment.
- Support children's personal care needs while promoting independence.
- Work closely with the wider nursery team to ensure the highest standards of care, learning, and safety.
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
What We're Looking For
We'd love to hear from you if you:
- Hold a full and relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification.
- Have a caring, positive, and enthusiastic approach.
- Enjoy working as part of a team.
- Are reliable, proactive, and passionate about supporting young children.
- Have previous nursery or childcare experience (preferred but not essential).
Salary & Working Pattern
- Part-time lunchtime hours.
- Salary from £12.76 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.
