Responsibilities
- Conduct one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions focused on various math topics, including algebra, geometry, calculus, and more
- Assess students’ current understanding and tailor lessons to meet their individual learning needs
- Develop clear, structured lesson plans that promote active learning and problem-solving skills
- Track student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support continuous improvement
- Create a supportive environment that encourages questions, curiosity, and confidence-building in math
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, or educational coordinators to align tutoring strategies with students’ overall academic goals
- Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions, student attendance, and progress reports
Skills
- Proven experience in tutoring or teaching mathematics at various levels
- Strong communication skills to explain complex concepts clearly and effectively
- Experience working with children or young learners, demonstrating patience and adaptability
- Knowledge of special education strategies to support students with diverse learning needs
- Ability to motivate students and foster a positive attitude towards math learning

Pay: £13.00-£15.00 per hour
