We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Carer to join a vibrant residential care home in Bolton (BL2). Duties
- Deliver personalized care to residents, assisting with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, and mobility
- Develop and follow individual care plans tailored to each resident’s needs and preferences
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members to ensure seamless care delivery
- Support residents in maintaining their independence and social engagement through meaningful activities
- Maintain accurate records of care provided using IT systems and ensure compliance with care standards
- Assist with medication administration as per training and regulations
- Promote a safe environment by adhering to health and safety policies and reporting any concerns promptly
Requirements
- Previous experience working in a care home or home care setting is highly desirable but not essential; full training will be provided
- Strong communication skills in English to effectively interact with residents, families, and colleagues
- Ability to use IT systems for documentation and care planning purposes
- Valid driving license is preferred for supporting residents’ outings or appointments
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to improve residents' quality of life
- Good understanding of care plans, safeguarding procedures, and health & safety regulations
- Excellent interpersonal skills to build trusting relationships with residents and team members
