Join Our Friendly Accountancy Team
We are looking for a positive, organised and enthusiastic Office Assistant to join our growing accountancy practice. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career in a professional office environment.
No previous accountancy or office experience is required. We're more interested in finding someone with a great attitude, strong communication skills and a willingness to learn. Full training will be provided.
About the Role
As an Office Assistant, you'll help keep the practice running smoothly and provide support to both our clients and team members. No two days are the same, and you'll gain exposure to a wide range of administrative and client-facing activities, supported by the Office Manager.
Typical duties may include:
- Welcoming clients and visitors
- Answering telephone calls and responding to enquiries
- Managing incoming and outgoing post
- Scanning, filing and maintaining client records
- Preparing documents and correspondence
- Supporting client onboarding, including AML documentation
- Assisting with diary management and appointment scheduling
- Supporting the team with general administrative tasks
- Helping maintain a professional and organised office environment

Hours and benefits
The role is 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, with half an hour for lunch.
