Responsibilities
- Analyse complex business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and visualisations using Tableau and Power BI to support decision-making processes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for process optimisation and automation.
- Support project management activities throughout the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), ensuring timely delivery of solutions.
- Design, develop, and optimise databases, including Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, and RDBMS systems, ensuring data integrity and security.
- Write efficient SQL queries, scripts, and VBA macros to automate data extraction and reporting tasks.
- Utilise programming languages such as Python, R, Bash (Unix shell), and VBA for data analysis and automation purposes.
- Create detailed process diagrams using Visio to document workflows and system architectures.
- Conduct thorough data analysis using advanced analysis skills to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business strategies.
- Assist in database design activities to ensure scalable and efficient data storage solutions.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst or similar role within a data-driven environment.
- Strong knowledge of Tableau, Power BI, and other data visualisation tools.
- Hands-on experience with project management methodologies and SDLC processes.
- Proficiency in SQL, R, Python, VBA, Bash (Unix shell), Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, and Visio is essential.
- Demonstrated ability in database design, data analysis skills, and analysis techniques.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
