Relief Delivery Driver
The Craft Bakery is looking for a reliable and professional Relief Delivery Driver to provide holiday cover for our existing drivers.
This is a physical early-morning role delivering bakery products across North Norfolk while representing The Craft Bakery to our customers.
Hours
- Guaranteed 10 weeks' work per year
- 6 days per week during cover periods
- 4:00am start
- Usually finish around 9:30am
- Advance notice given for all cover periods.
What you'll be doing
- Collecting the company van from North Norfolk Business Centre, Northrepps.
- Picking and packing daily shop and wholesale orders including bread, rolls, cakes and savouries.
- Checking and loading orders.
- Completing a multi-drop delivery route across North Norfolk.
- Returning to unload trays and complete end-of-shift duties.
- Representing The Craft Bakery professionally at all times.
- Part of a great team
What we're looking for
- Applicants must be aged 25 or over due to our motor insurance requirements.
- Full UK driving licence with a clean driving record.
- Excellent timekeeping and reliability.
- Good knowledge of North Norfolk and surrounding areas.
- Comfortable with manual handling and a physically active role.
- Able to accurately count and check orders.
- Works well independently and as part of a team.
Pay: From £12.80 per hour
