Job Overview
We are seeking an organised, proactive, and commercially aware HR Operations & Compliance Officer to support the workforce management and operational compliance functions of XZONE MEDIA LTD.
The successful candidate will assist with recruitment coordination, onboarding, staff compliance monitoring, HR administration, workforce planning, employee record management, and internal policy implementation across the company’s media, events, and hospitality operations.
The role will also support employee engagement, staff training coordination, operational reporting, and general HR functions required to maintain efficient and compliant business operations as the company continues to grow.
This position requires strong organisational ability, attention to detail, communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple operational and administrative priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
HR Operations & Workforce Coordination
- Support the recruitment, onboarding, and induction processes for new employees and contractors.
- Maintain employee records, HR documentation, onboarding files, and compliance records accurately and confidentially.
- Coordinate workforce scheduling, staff administration, attendance tracking, and internal HR processes.
- Assist management with workforce planning and staffing coordination across business operations.
- Support employee engagement initiatives and internal staff communication activities.
- Assist in organising staff meetings, training sessions, inductions, and operational briefings.
Compliance & Administration
- Monitor employee compliance documentation including right-to-work checks, contracts, training records, and internal policy compliance.
- Assist in ensuring company HR practices align with internal procedures and relevant employment regulations.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of company policies, procedures, and operational standards.
- Prepare internal reports relating to staffing, recruitment activities, training, and workforce administration.
- Maintain confidentiality and secure handling of employee and operational records.
Recruitment & Business Support
- Coordinate recruitment advertising, applicant screening, interview scheduling, and candidate communication.
- Liaise with management regarding staffing requirements and recruitment planning.
- Support operational managers with administrative and workforce coordination duties.
- Assist with maintaining a positive workplace culture and effective communication across teams.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives relating to operational efficiency and workforce processes.
Stakeholder Communication & Team Collaboration
- Communicate professionally with employees, contractors, external recruitment contacts, and operational teams.
- Work collaboratively with management to support the company’s workforce growth and operational objectives.
- Provide administrative and HR support during company events, productions, and hospitality operations where required.
Candidate requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Management, or a related discipline.
- Previous experience in HR administration, recruitment coordination, compliance support, workforce management, or operational administration.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Understanding of HR operations, employee documentation, and workplace compliance procedures.
- Ability to manage confidential information professionally and securely.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and digital administrative systems.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a dynamic business environment.
- Previous experience within media, hospitality, events, or creative industries is desirable but not essential.
Pay: £24,420.00-£33,400.00 per year
