Job Overview
I am seeking a skilled and reliable part time electrician 2 days a week (days will increase throughout the following month) who is registered as sole trader. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out EICRs, installing, maintaining and repairing electrical installations across various areas in Kent. A good knowledge of testing and inspection and experience in domestic and commercial installations required. The ideal applicant must possess practical experience with own hand tools, drills, calibrated tester and have access to own vehicle.
Duties
- Install, inspect, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in accordance with safety regulations and technical specifications.
- Fault finding electrical issues
- Carry out EICRs with remedials including consumer unit change
- Collaborate with other tradespeople and project managers to complete projects on time and within budget. (Paid bonus at my discretion)
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Electrician with a solid understanding of BS7671 standards
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools essential for electrical work.
- Demonstrable electrical experience with the ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail to ensure quality workmanship.
- Valid qualifications or certifications relevant to electrical installation and maintenance (e.g., City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3).
- Ability to work independently
- Good communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and colleagues.
