Goswell Exeter seeking a reliable and experienced Recovery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting vehicles and goods, often requiring specialised driving skills and mechanical knowledge. This role involves operating various types of vehicles, including flatbeds, and ensuring timely deliveries and recoveries. Goswell Accident Repair is an insurance service provider that handles the entire claims process from start to finish. When a customer calls to log a claim, we take care of everything from there. We arrange vehicle recoveries and ensure that all repairs are carried out to the highest standards. Using genuine parts, recycled parts or aftermarket parts to make it cost effective for the customers.
We manage the entire repair process, making it as effortless as possible for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles, including flatbed lorries, for recovery and delivery purposes
- Transport vehicles or goods to designated locations in a timely manner
- Assist with vehicle recovery operations, ensuring proper handling and securing of loads
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and basic mechanical checks before and after journeys
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members regarding delivery or recovery status
- Maintain accurate records of trips, deliveries, and recoveries in accordance with company procedures
- Adhere strictly to all health and safety regulations during operations
- Assist in warehouse activities when required, including loading and unloading goods
Experience
- Proven experience as a driving or delivery driver, preferably within a recovery or logistics environment
- Strong knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safety standards in the UK
- Experience with flatbed vehicles or specialised recovery equipment is highly desirable
- Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance and basic repairs is advantageous
- Previous warehouse experience is beneficial but not essential
- Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and team members
- Valid <PERSON> driver’s licence or equivalent qualification is mandatory
we work collectively in a great team to continue to hit site bonus for everyone on site to achieve addition pay (£350 a week)

Pay: £13.00-£15.00 per hour
