We are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Sous Chef to join the team at Michelin-starred HIDE.
HIDE is an urban oasis from the bustling world, hidden in plain sight.
Spread over three floors, two light-filled dining rooms are set around a breathtaking central staircase and enjoy tranquil views over Green Park.
Serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, a sizeable à la carte menu showcases the very best seasonal offerings, largely sourced from a close network of small farmers and suppliers from across the UK. A tasting menu with matching wine flights is also available on both floors.
Everything is made in-house wherever possible, from charcuterie and bread to jams, juices and pickles.
As Senior Sous Chef, you will be responsible for the following:
- Preparing and cooking dishes within your speciality
- Supporting the Head Chef to develop new dishes for the menu
- Training the junior chefs working with you
- Stock control and waste management
- Ensuring the brigade follows H&S regulations
- Deputising for the Head Chef to manage the brigade
- Demonstrating a respectful attitude and responding professionally to the demands of the management team
