Key Responsibilities:
- Safely transport prisoners to and from court and other destinations ensuring the care and welfare of the people in our care and custody.
- Maintain a professional and respectful demeanour with prisoners and colleagues.
- Ensure the security and well-being of prisoners during transport. The people in our care and custody will have a variety of different needs and it will be your role to ensure that they are met.
- Complete necessary documentation accurately, liaising with prison and police authorities ensuring documentation is completed and correct, carrying out risk assessments on vulnerable or at risk prisoners.
