Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee and customer service, ensuring that every guest has a delightful experience. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality beverages, maintaining cleanliness in the café, and providing exceptional service to our customers.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages and food items according to established recipes and standards.
- Operate the Aloha POS or Micros POS systems efficiently for order processing and payment handling.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling practices during preparation and serving.
- Assist with inventory management, including stock rotation and ordering supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment while maintaining high standards of quality in service.
Skills
- 2 years barista experience or coffee experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and food preparation techniques.
- Experience in food service or the food industry is advantageous.
