Purpose of Role
VINCI Facilities are seeking a Mobile Electrical Engineer to support a national EV charging infrastructure contract across Northampton and surrounding counties.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified electrician looking to move into a specialist engineering role within one of the fastest-growing areas of the UK electrical maintenance market.
You do not need previous EV charging experience, as full training will be provided.
Job Description
Working from home, you'll cover customer sites across Northamptonshire, Bedfordshire and occasionally the East Midlands and surrounding regions, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance activities.
Responsibilities
- Electrical maintenance and fault finding
- Diagnosing and repairing electrical assets
- Service and maintenance of EV charging infrastructure
- Completing remedial works following inspections
- Attending emergency breakdowns and call-outs
- Recording work via mobile technology
- Supporting minor site maintenance activities when required
Essential Qualifications/Skills
Essential:
- Electrically qualified (NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds)
- 18th Edition qualification
- Practical fault-finding experience
- Full UK driving licence
- Customer-focused approach
Desirable:
- Inspection & Testing qualification
- FM, Building Services or Industrial maintenance background
- Previous field-based engineering experience
