Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced, passionate, and highly organised Head Chef to lead our busy kitchen. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual who takes pride in delivering consistently high-quality food while leading and developing a successful kitchen team.
The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of the kitchen operation, ensuring exceptional food quality, effective stock management, and full compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day running of a busy kitchen.
- Lead, motivate, and develop the kitchen team to deliver outstanding service.
- Ensure the preparation, consistency, quality, and presentation of all dishes meet the highest standards using fresh ingredients where practical
- Oversee stock ordering, stock control, and inventory management to minimise waste and maintain target margins.
- Maintain full compliance with food safety legislation, health and safety regulations, and best practice hygiene standards.
- Ensure the kitchen is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and organisation at all times.
- The Successful candidate will demonstrate
- Proven experience in stock control, ordering, and cost management.
- A passion for producing consistently high-quality restaurant and bar meals.
- The ability to perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Monitor food costs and work towards achieving agreed gross profit margins.
- Foster a positive, professional, and efficient working environment.

Pay: £50,000.00 per year
