Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for seniors and individuals requiring care, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. This position is ideal for those with a passion for helping others and a desire to make a positive impact in the lives of those they care for.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care services including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene.
- Administer medication as prescribed and monitor clients for any side effects or changes in condition.
- Assist with meal preparation and ensure dietary needs are met.
- Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental stimulation and emotional support.
- Support clients with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety at all times.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties.
- Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to relevant healthcare professionals.
- Provide specialised care for clients with dementia or other cognitive impairments as needed.

Skills
- Experience in home care settings is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of medication administration protocols and first aid practices.
- Ability to provide compassionate care while respecting the dignity of clients.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Experience in nursing homes or similar environments is an advantage.
- Capability to prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary requirements.
- Familiarity with childcare practices may be beneficial when caring for younger clients or families.
- A patient, empathetic nature with the ability to handle challenging situations calmly and effectively.
- Ability and knowledge on how to support individuals with dementia
