Working Hours and Pay:
- Hours: 12.5 hours per week, 2.5 hours per day
- Pay: £12.71 per hour
- Contract: 43-weeks per annum
- 39 week term time / 4 weeks shutdown cleaning during half terms and summer
- Annual Leave: Must be taken during periods of school closure only
- Working Pattern: One shift (Monday to Friday)
- Afternoon Shift 3.15PM to 5.45PM
Job Overview
We are looking for a reliable and flexible cleaner to join our dedicated cleaning team at Hoyle Court Primary School. This role involves working as part of a team to maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the school premises.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean classrooms, toilets, communal areas, and office spaces
- Use cleaning chemicals, materials, and equipment safely and effectively (training provided)
- Follow health and safety procedures
- Maintain cleanliness standards in line with school expectations
Requirements
- Commitment to high standards of cleaning and hygiene

- Flexibility and reliability
- Enhanced DBS certificate (either currently held or willingness to apply via ICS )
- Subject to an online search in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education 2023 as part of the shortlisting process
