Job Title: Production Operative - Evening Shift
Hourly Rate: £14.09
Contracted Hours: 40 hours, Monday-Friday, 17:00-01:45
Location: Nursling, SO16 9SD
Full training is provided with opportunities to increase your base pay by learning and qualifying with skills such as machine operator, first aid and fire marshal.
Duties
- Operating the inspection line and fruit breaker line. Removing any unwanted physical contamination
- Operating the feed to our multi head weigher and adjusting the feed to suit the size of the bag
- Packing the finished goods into plastic totes ready for receiving the goods into the warehouse
- Completing production paperwork to ensure traceability throughout the production process
- Cleaning of equipment efficiently and effectively
Skills
- Experience of working in a food production environment (desirable)
- Experience of using production machinery (desirable)
- Candidates must be physically fit and comfortable lifting up to 25kg and working on their feet for 8 hours per day
- Applicants with food allergies should note that our facility processes Nuts, Soya, Sesame, Gluten containing products, Sulphur Dioxide containing products and Milk containing products and at times production can be dusty
