Knockmoyle Lodge is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Full Time Registered Nurse to join our team. Mileage allowance included.
You will play an important role in supporting the health, comfort and well-being of our residents by delivering safe, high-quality nursing care. You will work closely with colleagues and other healthcare professionals to maintain a positive, supportive and person-centred environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assessing residents’ physical, mental and emotional care needs
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitoring and recording residents’ vital signs and relevant medical information
- Working with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to provide coordinated care
- Maintaining accurate care records and clinical documentation
- Supporting residents and communicating with their families
- Carrying out other appropriate duties assigned by the Nurse Manager
Essential requirements:
- Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)
- Experience in medication administration and delivering nursing care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong clinical judgement and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
