HGV Class 2 Driver
Newtownabbey
Pay rate: £14.50ph, £15 overtime
Hours: Mon to Thurs 8.15am to 5.15pm, Friday 8.15am to 2.45pm
Gentech are recruiting on behalf of our client for an HGV class 2 Driver in Newtownabbey.
Duties:
- Safely operate HGV vehicles
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment
- Plan routes and ensure timely delivery of goods
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
- Perform routine inspections of the vehicle and report any maintenance issues
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members
- Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times
Requirements:
- Valid class 2 driver's licence
- Proven experience as an HGV driver
- Clean driving record with no accidents or violations
