This temporary 3-month contract role is part of the Direct Repairs Team, focusing on delivering top-notch electrical repairs, maintenance, testing, and inspection services across residential properties. The successful candidate will ensure that all electrical tasks are executed safely and efficiently, adhering to current regulations and industry standards, while providing exceptional customer service to residents and stakeholders.
- Electrical Repairs & Maintenance
- Perform electrical repairs, maintenance, and installations in residential properties.
- Diagnose electrical faults and implement effective solutions.
- Ensure compliance with electrical regulations and safety standards.
- Testing, Inspection & Compliance
- Conduct electrical testing, inspections, and surveys.
- Perform Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) as needed.
- Complete certification and compliance documentation.
- Prepare detailed reports on completed works and inspection outcomes.
- Customer Service & Communication
- Deliver professional, customer-focused service.
- Communicate effectively with residents, colleagues, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Clearly explain repair requirements and outcomes to customers.
- Reporting & Record Keeping
- Accurately complete job sheets, inspection reports, and certification records.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation in line with company procedures.
- Emergency & Out-of-Hours Support
- Participate in occasional out-of-hours and emergency response work.
- Attend urgent repair requests and electrical emergencies as required.
