Duties
- Greet guests warmly as they arrive and assist with seating arrangements or bar orders
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including beers, wines, and non-alcoholic options, following established recipes and safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and stocked appropriately
- Monitor guest consumption responsibly at all times
- Engage with guests in a friendly manner, answering questions about menu items and making personalized recommendations
- Manage cash register operations accurately, including processing payments and giving correct change
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow during busy hours and handle multiple orders efficiently
Experience
- Previous experience working in a bar setting is essential
- Strong knowledge of hospitality principles and excellent serving skills are essential for success in this role
- Familiarity with food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices is highly desirable
- Basic math skills are necessary for handling transactions accurately
- Demonstrated time management abilities to prioritize tasks effectively during high-volume periods
- Ability to work well within a team environment while maintaining professionalism and positive attitude
- Must be over 18
