Registered Care Home Manager (Turnaround Specialist)
- Position: Registered Manager (3-Month Fixed-Term Contract)

The Opportunity
For 40 years, our residential home proudly maintained a "GOOD" CQC rating. Following a recent downgrade to "INADEQUATE" and a temporary suspension on new admissions, we are seeking a focused professional to help lift the restriction.Because our occupancy is currently capped at 15 residents, your daily operational management footprint is small. This allows you to dedicate the vast majority of your time to governance, compliance, and building the necessary evidence trails.The Challenge
The care being delivered on the floor is good, and we recently invested £50,000 into upgrading the home and making care plans person-centred. However, our paperwork has not kept pace. We need you to bridge the gap between our daily actions and the robust evidence trails required by the CQC.Key Objectives
- Build Evidence Trails: Establish clear, audit-ready paperwork for daily monitoring, clinical escalation, and staff oversight.
- Maintain Stability: Oversee the high-quality daily care of our 15 current residents.
- CQC Liaison: Prepare the home’s documentation to successfully overturn the admissions suspension.
- Requirements
- Proven experience as a Registered Manager with a history of managing CQC inspections.
- Exceptional organizational skills with a strength in establishing governance and audit frameworks.
- Immediate or short-notice availability.
Pay: £3,330.00 per month
