Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and highly organised Business Administrator to join our team! In this vital role, you will oversee daily office operations, manage administrative tasks, and support various departments to ensure smooth and efficient business functions. Duties
- Manage day-to-day office activities, including scheduling interviews, handling correspondence, and maintaining digital client and carer worker filing systems
- Support compliance on client and carer files, record-keeping, and audits to ensure operational efficiency
- Oversee human resources functions such as onboarding new employees, maintaining personnel records, and supporting employee relations
- Accounting processes for invoices and managing financial records accurately
- Maintain professional phone etiquette when communicating with clients, stakeholders and team members
- Organise company onboarding, team meetings, and training sessions to promote team cohesion and professional development
- Ensure all clerical tasks are completed promptly with attention to detail, including data entry and document preparation
Requirements
- Proven experience in office administration or clerical roles with strong organisational skills
- Demonstrated supervisory experience with the ability to lead and motivate a team effectively
- Proficiency in accurate data entry and Microsoft Office is highly desirable
- Understanding of adult social care and home care is desirable
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with professional phone etiquette.
- Taking a proactive approach, initiative and demonstrating competence is essential.
- Prior experience in office or administrative environments is preferred
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting
