The Evening Cleaner will be responsible for maintaining a clean, tidy and hygienic environment within the dental practice. The role involves carrying out routine cleaning and general housekeeping duties after normal practice hours, ensuring all areas are left clean and ready for the following working day.
Hours: Monday–Friday, 5:30pm–7:30pm (10 hours per week). (Start time can be negotiated)
Duties
- Perform cleaning tasks including mopping, dusting, hoovering, and wate removal to uphold high cleanliness standards. (This does not include NOT include clinical waste)
- Clean and disinfect bathrooms, kitchens, break rooms, offices and common areas.
- Maintain cleanliness of floors, windows, fixtures, and surfaces.
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap dispensers, and toilet paper to ensure availability at all times.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to management.
- Follow health and safety guidelines diligently to create a secure working environment for yourself and others.
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing time effectively during shifts.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment safety practices
