We have vacancies for new FULL-TIME and PART-TIME members of staff to join us as TRAINEE BUS and COACH DRIVERS in YORK and the surrounding areas. Working from one of our York based depots a part-time role will include driving children to school in the morning and returning them home each evening. Or, in the case of a full-time position this will also include other driving duties, including taking our customers out on trips around the area or maybe even driving one of our local service buses.
We operate a great fleet of modern, warm vehicles and offer genuinely excellent rates of pay. Part time staff earn a minimum £32 per school run (appx 2 hours) and starting hourly rate for full time is £15 per hour.
We provide full training completely free of charge, from gaining the necessary licence right through to learning the routes and procedures. In addition we offer the security of working for the area's leading independent coach operator, together with great remuneration and job security.
You could even have every school holiday off too after you start, if you would like to!
There's no experience necessary, all you need to start your application a full car licence and to be able to satisfactorily complete a DBS check for working with children. Training is fun, easy and takes place on fully automatic vehicles, so you don't even have to change gears!
